Rosmah unaware of plans to pay Najib's RM50mil fine

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor said she was unaware of any arrangements to pay the RM50 million fine imposed on her husband, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, to enable him to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house arrest.

Rosmah said she had not been informed of any developments concerning the payment today.

"I do not know. You all know better.

"The family does not know and I am not being told about it," she said when approached by reporters at the Kuala Lumpur courts complex today.

She was met after attending the hearing of her application to adduce new evidence in her solar hybrid project corruption case.

When shown a news report by a local Malay daily claiming that two people believed to be Najib's representatives had been spotted at the court's payment counter this morning, Rosmah appeared puzzled and asked who they were.

"They (Malay daily) always know better and then after that they retract," she said with a giggle.
