CAF Confed Cup: Kaizer Chiefs starting XI for Red Arrows clash

Translate

Kaizer Chiefs host Red Arrows in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

Amakhosi need to win by a two-goal margin to advance to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

That’s because they lost 1-0 in the first leg in Zambia last week, and anything less than a win will see them get eliminated.

Should Fernando da Cruz’s men succeed in their mission to beat Red Arrows on the night, they would make the group stage for the second season in a row.

Now, Da Cruz has made several changes to the previous starting line-up with captain Brandon Petersen starting on the bench despite his return.

Petersen had been out injured since mid-September, but he traveled with the rest of his Chiefs teammates to Durban.

Bruce Bvuma starts ahead of both Petersen and Renaldo Leaner who was in goals in the first leg in Zambia.

STARTING XI: KAIZER CHIEFS VS RED ARROWS

Kaizer Chiefs starting XI: Bvuma, Frosler, Cross, Miguel, Moloisane, Mthethwa, Mabaso, Mmodi, Duba, Shabalala, Abrahams.
