Turkish football pundit Emre Bol has described Victor Osimhen as being too good for the Turkish Super Lig, praising the Nigerian striker’s influence after his brace inspired Galatasaray to a 2-1 victory over rivals Fenerbahçe on Monday, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Osimhen scored in the 29th and 44th minutes at Rams Park to give Galatasaray a two-goal advantage before the break. Although Fenerbahçe pulled one back through İrfan Can Kahveci in the second half, the hosts held on to claim all three points and return to the top of the league table.

Speaking on the SporON YouTube channel, Bol described the Super Eagles striker as a player capable of deciding competitions, saying he could not recall another footballer in recent years who had exerted such a significant influence on matches.

“Osimhen is too good for this league. He’s one of those guys who finishes the competition,” Bol said, according to Habersarikirmizi.

“I don’t remember another guy in years who, when he’s on the field, has such a 100 per cent impact on the game. He’s a guy who leaves his mark on the game and has a 100 per cent impact.”

The latest performance further underlined Osimhen’s importance to Galatasaray, where he has established himself as one of the club’s most influential players since joining from Napoli on loan in September 2024 before completing a permanent move in July 2025.

The 27-year-old enjoyed a remarkable debut season in Turkey, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions as Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup.

He also claimed the league’s Golden Boot after finishing the campaign with 26 goals.

Osimhen has maintained his goalscoring form in the current campaign, having scored in Galatasaray’s 4-2 Champions League victory over Lille on October 21 before netting twice against Fenerbahçe five days later.

His brace against Fenerbahçe further strengthened his reputation as a decisive performer in major fixtures, with Galatasaray relying on his goals as they pursue another successful campaign.
