India’s young spinner Vaishnavi Sharma made a huge leap in the latest women’s ICC ODI bowling rankings on Tuesday, climbing 53 places to 94th after a strong home series against Zimbabwe.

The 20-year-old returned four wickets in the second ODI and followed it up with a five-wicket haul in the series decider.

Sayali Satghare also moved up the rankings, rising 18 places to 85th after her two for 11 in six overs in the final ODI. Kranti Gaud, who took two wickets in the series finale, gained one spot to reach 24th.

Among batters, opener Pratika Rawal rose three places to 18th after making three successive half-centuries in the series. Shafali Verma climbed eight places to share 65th position following her unbeaten 51 off 26 in the third and final ODI.

The Smriti Mandhana-led Indian team completed a 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series against the visiting Zimbabwe after clinching a 3-0 series victory in the T20Is.
