COTABATO CITY – At least 81 bullet shells from high-powered firearms were recovered from the site where the convoy of Bangsamoro interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua was ambushed last Saturday afternoon, police said.

This developed as the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) formed Special Investigation Task Group-Interim Chief Minister (SITG-ICM) to investigate the strafing of Macacua’s convoy.

Capt. Steffi Salanguit, PRO-BAR spokesperson, said SITG-ICM would be headed by Maguindanao del Norte police director Col. George Bagundol as group commander, under the supervision of PRO-BAR deputy regional director for operations Col. Rexmel Reyes.
