British whodunnit thriller with Death in Paradise star among exciting cast confirms release date

British whodunnit thriller series Hunting Alice Bell has landed a release date for next month. The new show boasts an impressive cast, which includes Death in Paradise's Ralf Little and Nightsleeper's Alex Roach.
It has now been confirmed that the show will debut on Channel 4 on Wednesday, 11 November at 9pm, which will be followed by the second episode the day after. The full series will also be available in full on streaming after the first episode's broadcast.
The show focuses on the titular character, "a former nurse, and also the lover, and accomplice, of a notorious anaesthetist serial killer" who currently lives "in Britain under a new identity".

"When, online, Fran Da Silva is accused of being Alice Bell, her happy family life implodes in a wave of mob hate," the synopsis reads.
"Then she discovers she's not the only woman to suffer this fate. Fran and the other accused women band together to fight back and clear their names. But as they battle to prove their innocence, what if one of the group is lying - and is the real Alice Bell…?"
It has been further described as "a psychological thriller built around a whodunnit with shades of family drama and social satire" and "a story for our times" about "misogyny, justice, the psychosis of the mob, and about how rumours spread and the devastating effects they cause".
Hunting Alice Bell also stars MobLand's Emily Barber, The Lazarus Project's Rudi Dharmalingam and Shaun of the Dead's Simon Pegg.

Comedian David Baddiel and film critic Peter Bradshaw have created the series, writing it alongside Polly Buckle and Kate Verghese.
"The idea for Hunting Alice Bell was originally inspired by real cases of women in the UK becoming terrorised by the local population after suspicions start of them being various national hate figures, secretly living in the community," Baddiel previously said.
"Over time it developed into a six part drama, and more focussed on the way that this kind of destructive rumour-mongering, which can incite riots and mob rage, is now intensified by social media."
Hunting Alice Bell premieres on Wednesday, 11 November at 9pm on Channel 4, after which the series will become available in full as a boxset on Channel 4.
