Ranveer Singh, currently occupied with the shoot of his upcoming film 'Pralay', stepped away from his hectic schedule to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha at Mumbai's iconic Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh Pandal.

Videos from his visit have since made their way onto social media, giving fans a glimpse of the actor's festive outing.

For the occasion, Ranveer Singh opted for a semi-chikankari-style white kurta paired with pyjamas. As he made his way through the premises, the actor was seen greeting and shaking hands with several young admirers. Before departing, he leaned out of his SUV to wave and blow flying kisses to the crowd gathered outside before finally heading off.

Why Lalbaugcha Raja draws massive crowds

Mumbai is known for celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi on a grand scale, with towering idols, beautifully adorned pandals and citywide festivities becoming a defining part of its culture during this period. Among all the pandals, Lalbaugcha Raja remains one of the most popular, drawing thousands of devotees each year who queue up for hours to catch a glimpse of the deity and offer their prayers.

Ranveer Singh's upcoming projects

On the professional front, Ranveer is currently shooting for 'Pralay', a zombie thriller co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and directed by Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta.

Details about the film's plot have largely been kept under wraps, with its release expected sometime next year.The actor was last seen in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which turned out to be a colossal hit, collecting over Rs 1800 crore worldwide since its March release this year.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to welcome second child

On the personal front, Ranveer Singh is set to embrace fatherhood for the second time, with wife Deepika Padukone expecting their second child. The couple, married since November 2018, welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, in September 2024.
