KLIA Express, Transit fares to rise by RM10 in 2027
Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) has announced fare hikes for the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services, with the one-way adult fare between KL Sentral and KLIA set to rise by RM10 from January.
In a statement, ERL said the price would rise from RM55 to RM65 effective Jan 1, with fares for other sectors to be adjusted as well.
Noting that the last fare increase was in 2016, the company said the price adjustment follows a significant rise in operating and maintenance costs in line with its concession agreement with the government.
“This fare adjustment will support our efforts to maintain high service standards and invest in improvements to enhance passenger experience,” said ERL CEO Noormah Noor.
Noormah added that ERL is working with several partners to offer exclusive ticket discounts of up to 30% starting next January. Details will be announced once arrangements are finalised.
ERL, which began operations 24 years ago, runs the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services between the city centre and KLIA Terminals 1 and 2.
