Jaymoh Decin Laments Six Months of TikTok Content Reports

Translate

Kenyan comedian and content creator Jaymoh Decin has expressed frustration with an unidentified TikTok user whom he accuses of repeatedly reporting his posts over the past six months.

In a statement shared on Instagram on Thursday, October 8, 2026, the comedian suggested that someone had persistently targeted his content, raising concerns about the impact of the alleged reports on his online activities.

“Someone has just maintained reporting my content on TikTok in every post for the last six months… Anataka turudi ushago. Shindwe! Shetani amlambe! Shindwe pepo mbaya! Mungu anakupenda lakini,” he wrote.

Jaymoh did not reveal the identity of the person he suspects is behind the reports or clarify whether TikTok had taken down any of his posts following the complaints.

Jaymoh’s Journey in the Entertainment Industry

Jaymoh, who is popularly known for his comedy character Choke Jingli, has built a following through online skits, impersonations and relatable everyday situations that resonate with Kenyan audiences.

His rise in the entertainment industry has been gradual, with years of consistently creating comedy content helping him establish himself among the country’s digital entertainers.

He spent much of the previous decade developing his craft, initially producing videos with limited resources before gaining wider recognition. Over time, he expanded his work beyond online skits and began pursuing live comedy performances.

His impersonations have also contributed to his popularity. In March 2026, he attracted attention for his impression of fellow comedian Eric Omondi, with viewers commenting on the similarities in their delivery and mannerisms.

From Online Skits to the Live Stage

One of Jaymoh’s major career milestones came in September 2026, when he staged his first major live comedy show, Sudhe Experience, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

Held on September 12, the event marked a significant step for the comedian, whose audience had largely followed his work through digital platforms.

Following the show, Jaymoh thanked fans who bought tickets and attended, describing the journey as challenging and acknowledging those who helped him bring the production together.

He also reflected on the doubts and sacrifices involved in organising the event, including coordinating a large cast and preparing to perform before a live audience.

Buoyed by the response to the show, Jaymoh later hinted at a second edition, signalling his ambition to expand his comedy career beyond social media.

Jaymoh Speaks Out Over TikTok Reports

The comedian’s latest complaint highlights a challenge faced by digital creators as they build their online presence: keeping their content accessible while navigating platform rules and user complaints.

TikTok allows users to report content they believe violates its Community Guidelines. However, a report does not automatically establish a violation, as content moderation decisions depend on the platform’s review process.

Although Jaymoh has not disclosed whether the alleged reports have resulted in any restrictions on his account, his statement reflects his frustration with what he believes has been a sustained effort to interfere with his content.
