US Open 2026 Juniors — Maaya Rajeshwaran enters girls’ doubles semifinal with straight-set win

Indian tennis player Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi, along with Antonina Sushkova from Ukraine, sailed into the semifinals of the Girls’ Doubles at the US Open Junior Championships in New York on Thursday.
Maaya and Antonia beat the fourth-seeded Russian duo of Felitsata Dorofeeva-Rybas and Anna Pushkareva 6-4, 6-4. The Indo-Ukrainian pair will face local wild cards Annika Penickova and Kristina Penickova in the semifinals.
Maaya, who was trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy, reached the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Juniors this year and will look to continue her momentum this season, with the US Open Juniors title still up for grabs.
Her next opponents, Annika and Kristina, had beaten Alyssa James and Polina Skliar in straight sets to secure their spot in the final four. In the semifinal, the American duo will enter as the favourite, having won the Australian Open Juniors and the Wimbledon Juniors last year.
