Mizuho Kusanagi’s Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) Vol. 48 hits No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Book Hot 100 chart released Oct. 29.

The final volume of Akatsuki no Yona, which began serialization in Hana to Yume magazine in 2009, debuts at No. 1, landing in the top five across three metrics: brick-and-mortar, e-commerce (EC) and e-books.

FANTASTICS member Yusei Yagi’s second photo book Be my enters at No. 2, topping the EC metric. Last week’s No. 1, Gosho Aoyama’s Meitantei Conan Vol. 109 follows at No. 3, staying at No. 1 in brick-and-mortar.

At No. 4, Souryu’s Kou Iu no ga Ii Vol. 14 leads the e-books metric, while Yu Nagira’s Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku comes in at No. 5, topping both subscriptions and social media. This week, chart-topper Akatsuki no Yona scored well-balanced points across the metrics, while each of the titles at Nos. 2 through 5 claimed No. 1 on a metric of its own.

Akiko Abe’s Cafuné, whose paperback edition was released Oct. 15, holds at No. 6 and remains in the top 10.

The Billboard Japan Book Hot 100 is a comprehensive chart combining physical books, e-books, subscriptions such as library loans, and social media buzz. Below are the top 10 titles on this week’s list, tracking the week from Oct. 19 to 25.
