Serie A official line-ups: Roma vs. Inter

It’s a top of the table Scudetto showdown with Donyell Malen, Paulo Dybala and Matias Soulé leading Roma against Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Curtis Jones.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 17.00 UK time (18.00 CEST).
There will be a minute’s silence before kick-off in every match, and Inter are wearing black armbands this evening, following the death of legend Sandro Mazzola at 83.
These are the only two teams with a perfect record so far in Serie A, and they go head-to-head for an early Scudetto battle.
Roma have for the first time a full squad at their disposal, as even Lorenzo Pellegrini is on the bench.
Evan Ndicka has recovered and was named in the starting XI, but a change was made at the last minute, aided by Leonardo Balerdi’s impressive performance on his full debut.
Nahuel Molina is also preferred to Emanuele Lulli on the left, shifting Wesley over to the right flank.
Once again, Soulé gets the nod with Dybala and top scorer Malen rather than summer investment Rodrigo Mora.
Malen’s record is truly remarkable, scoring six goals in four Serie A games this season, 20 in just 22 Italian top flight appearances since joining from Aston Villa in January.
Inter have several problems to contend with, as John Stones suffered a thigh strain during the epic 5-3 comeback win over Udinese, while Hakan Calhanoglu sustained a muscular injury in defeat to Real Madrid.
Djed Spence is still not ready after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur with an injury, so Andy Diouf celebrates his first France call-up on the right wing, with Jones and Piotr Zielinski in midfield.
Lautaro Martinez was rested against Udinese and returns to partner Marcus Thuram, with Federico Dimarco also back to full fitness after a knee issue.
Unusually for Cristian Chivu’s side, they have been leaking goals lately, conceding five in the last two rounds, both comeback wins from 2-0 down to beat Napoli and Udinese.
These two teams have not played a draw since the 2-2 thriller in January 2021, followed by two Roma victories and 10 Inter wins in all competition.
Curiously, the Nerazzurri are unbeaten at the Olimpico since a 2-1 result in October 2016.
