‘Recruit Mike Tyson To Your Corner ‘ –Groves Advises Joshua Ahead Of Fury Fight
Former super-middleweight world champion George Groves has advised Anthony Joshua to recruit boxing icon Mike Tyson to his training corner ahead of his blockbuster heavyweight showdown with Tyson Fury on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The highly anticipated British rivalry comes following contrasting victories for both fighters, with Fury stopping Polish veteran Mariusz Wach and Joshua overcoming two knockdowns to halt Kristian Prenga.

With Fury entering the contest as the favorite, Groves believes Joshua must alter his tactical approach and adopt a “peekaboo” style to overcome the taller Fury, recommending that ‘Iron Mike’ himself help draft the game plan.
“I think Anthony Joshua should bring Mike Tyson in to come up with the plan to beat Tyson Fury. What Joshua could also do is have a bit more of a Mike Tyson-esque style,” Groves told Grosvenor Sport.

“Joshua could be a little bit more peekaboo—crouching, slipping, sliding, dipping, momentum going forward, bringing those big hooks and uppercuts off those dips, legs loaded,” Groves added.
“Getting some advice from a man who carved out a fantastic career always being on the shorter side of things makes perfect sense to me.”
