Final Fantasy 10 Officially Returning November 2026 With New Release

Final Fantasy 10 is an iconic RPG, and decades later, its legendary status hasn't diminished. While it hasn't benefited from the ambitious remakes that recently propelled FF7 to even greater popularity, the original game stands the test of time perfectly well, continuing to win new fans alongside its long-time acolytes.
It helps, of course, to keep the merchandise coming, and few publishers are better at that than Square Enix. In lieu of a new game adventure, FF10 fans can at least fill up their shelves with tributes to the game, and a figure coming this November could be a great option.
A new figure of Final Fantasy 10's Yuna is scheduled for release in late November, and manufacturer Taito has now shared an official image of the finished product. The figure depicts Yuna with her hands clasped and arms stretched out in front of her. She wears her classic summoner's outfit from FF10, complete with a large waistband bow typical of a Japanese dress like a yukata.
As a Taito prize figure, Yuna will be made directly available as a prize in Japanese arcade machines. Despite this unusual method of distribution, prize figures are typically relatively affordable and easy to obtain compared to more expensive scale figures, which are manufactured to a higher standard of quality and detail. While she won't be showing up in American supermarkets, fans will be able to either order the figure from Japan or find it in dedicated hobby stores.
The November release of the Yuna prize figure follows the launch of a Tidus counterpart, which will start appearing in arcades on October 31. Like Yuna, Tidus is depicted in his standard FF10 getup. His figure displays his confident attitude, with a fist on one hip and head tilted slightly downward with a slight smirk on his face. Tidus and Yuna watches are also set to arrive in November.
The two figures should go great together, but either one could be a fitting addition to any FF10 collection alone. If you're not yet sold on the figures, it might be wise to wait for some pictures in the wild, as it should be easier to tell how good the paint jobs and sculpts are once fans start posting their hauls.
Regardless, new prize figures are always nice, as they're a much more accessible way to collect than investing only in high-end figures. For comparison, a new 1/6.5 scale figure of Yuna, which is set to release in 2027, will retail for 27,000 JPY, which equates to roughly $171 USD at the moment. It's more of a show-stopper, to be sure, but it's not a reasonable option for every budget.
Hopefully, Square Enix will keep up the streak and deliver new Taito prize figures of more of Final Fantasy 10's memorable cast. I, for one, certainly wouldn't complain about some new merchandise of Wakka or Lulu. If any two feel like absolute necessities, though, it's Tidus and Yuna, so it's nice to see both of those coming within the span of the next month.
