Newly married actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have shared that they enjoy 'Dhurandhar' too. Vijay said the film's songs are played non-stop at gyms in South India as the couple get ready for the release of 'Ranabaali'.

During a recent chat with podcaster Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were asked which Hindi songs are played the most in the South. The 'Kingdom' actor replied that 'Dhurandhar' tracks keep playing at gyms there. He could not remember the exact songs and asked the host to hum them. He also said that he listens to a lot of independent music.

What 'Ranabaali' is about

'Ranabaali' will release worldwide on October 16. The film is set during British rule between 1854 and 1878.

It tells a fictional story inspired by lesser-known chapters from the Rayalaseema region and a fierce warrior named Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali.Vijay plays the title role, while Rashmika is seen as Jayamma. This is the third film of the pair together and the first after their wedding. They earlier shared the screen in 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade'.

Cast and crew of 'Ranabaali'

The Telugu period drama is directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo is also part of the cast, which adds an international name to the film.

Ajay-Atul have composed the music. The team finished shooting for the film in September.
