Matchbox Twenty Announce 30th Anniversary Tour in 2027

Matchbox Twenty are taking 30 years of hits back on the road. The band has announced an extensive North American anniversary tour for 2027, featuring rotating support from The All-American Rejects, The Wallflowers, David Gray, O.A.R., Matt Nathanson, and The Lucky.

The 52-date run kicks off May 15th in Birmingham, Alabama, and stretches through August 12th in Grand Rapids, with stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Hollywood Bowl, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre, and more along the way. Before the tour begins, Matchbox Twenty will also appear at Stagecoach Festival on April 25th.

An artist presale begins October 20th at 5:00 p.m. local time, with additional pre-sales taking place throughout the week. General ticket sales begin October 23rd at 10:00 a.m. local time via Matchbox via  Ticketmaster.

The trek continues a yearlong celebration of the band’s breakthrough debut, Yourself or Someone Like You, which turned 30 this year. Released in 1996, the album introduced Matchbox Twenty to a massive audience through songs including “Push,” “3AM,” “Real World,” “Back 2 Good,” and “Long Day.” The band marked the occasion with an intimate show at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on October 11th, performing material from the album alongside other favorites, and will continue the festivities with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 14th.
