S. Cotabato town suspends face-to-face classes for school safety meeting
KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Face-to-face classes in all public and private schools in Norala, South Cotabato will be suspended on Monday, Sept. 21, as local and education officials meet to review school safety measures following the shooting in nearby Banga town.
The Norala municipal government, in an announcement posted by its information office, said Mayor Clemente Fedoc ordered the suspension covering all levels.

The suspension will give way to an emergency meeting between the Department of Education in Norala and the municipal government to discuss measures to strengthen the safety and protection of students and school personnel.
