Emmerdale reveals scheming Sadie will finally be caught out

Emmerdale's Sadie King will finally be caught out next week, amid her latest money-grabbing scheme. The villain's twisted plan will come to light as devastated Nicola King prepares to bury her husband.

But will Jimmy King go to his grave as a perceived adulterer? Or will Nicola discover the truth in time to give him a proper goodbye?

Sadie returned to the Dales earlier this year, following Jimmy's fatal car crash. While Nicola was mourning her tragic loss, Sadie claimed that she and Jimmy had been having a secret affair for years.

Later, Robert Sugden uncovered the real reason Sadie was back - to get her hands on the £150k that Jimmy received for selling his haulage company. The pair agreed to team up to locate the cash, with Robert planning to steal it for himself.

Next week's episodes will see the villagers preparing for Jimmy's funeral, with a heartbroken Nicola torn between her grief and his betrayal. However, a new trailer seems to confirm that Sadie's lies will be exposed - leaving her at the mercy of the incensed widow.

The teaser opens with a clip of Jimmy's coffin and memorial sign, with Nicola standing by his freshly dug grave.

"I loved every ounce of you, but you've ruined that. And I will never, ever forgive you for that," she declares, while dressed in all black.

We then see Robert's other half Aaron Dingle insisting that he can't let Nicola bury Jimmy while believing he was unfaithful to her.

Robert appears conflicted about what to do, with sinister Sadie lurking over his shoulder. But it seems he or someone else eventually tells Nicola truth, and hell truly hath no fury...

"When I should've been grieving for the man I loved most in this world, she made me hate him!" Nicola realises.

Is a fiery showdown on the cards? Or will Nicola decide to play Sadie at her own game?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
