President Cyril Ramaphosa has been booked off sick from public engagements.

The Presidency has announced that President Cyril Ramaphosa has been booked off from public engagements due to ill health.

In a short statement on Wednesday afternoon, it said after his return from the BRICS Summit in India, the president “has been advised by his medical team to rest and recover”.

Ramaphosa asked respective ministers to represent him at scheduled public engagements.
