Over the years, Taylor Swift has continuously grown her real estate portfolio. From buying her first-ever house in Nashville, TN, to purchasing her latest home with Travis Kelce in Bratenahl, Ohio, she has accumulated many properties.

Recently, one of her earlier purchases made in 2011 has made its way back onto the market for a whopping USD 8 million. Here's all you need to know about Taylor Swift's former Cape Cod-style cottage located in Beverly Hills. It is also known as the Pillsbury Estate.

According to a profile done by Homes and Gardens, the famed singer had purchased the property back in 2011. This was only her second property so far after the Nashville penthouse she had bought two years prior for USD 1.99 million.A major upgrade from her first space, this Beverly Hills cottage spans 4,360 square feet and is located on a 1.5-acre lot. The property was originally built in the 1940s, and the singer bought it right after releasing her second album titled ‘Speak Now.' Swift lived there till 2018 and wrote much of her multi-Grammy-winning 2014 album '1989,' which included tracks like ‘Blank Space.'

As for the design and the interiors of the house, it features an open-space layout with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with an independent one-bedroom guest cottage.

The gourmet kitchen has been completely remodelled and centres around a high-end, heavy-duty gas range and oven with a custom stainless-steel exhaust hood. Most of the area is outfitted with custom-built-ins, modern marble-topped prep surfaces, built-in dual freezers, a dishwasher, an integrated microwave, and an ice-maker setup. One of the new additions to the property is the sunroom, located adjacent to the kitchen.

It is a sun-drenched breakfast area surrounded by windows overlooking the sprawling garden grounds.The Pillsbury House also has a custom wet bar designed for entertaining, complete with specialised bar ice-making and refrigeration units, as well as original hardwood floors that run throughout the living spaces, updated with warm, natural finishes. Lastly, the home office, built sometime after 2012, also showed major renovations.

It features deep jade-green lacquered walls and custom-built-in bookshelves with a window framing the exterior rose garden.

Who are the current owners of the Pillsbury estate?

The Beverly Hills property is now owned by fashion entrepreneur Nicolas Bijan, who is the heir to the House of Bijan, and interior designer Roxy Bijan. The pair purchased the home from Swift in an off-market deal in 2018 and have been staying in the property since then. During their time there, the couple invested in some renovations and additions to the property. These include adding a home office, a pink dressing room, a sunroom breakfast nook, and refreshed cottage spaces on the 1.5-acre land.

After eight years of living on the property, they have now decided to sell off the property, and part was with it for USD 7.95 million.
