Xbox Game Pass will go through a major change to its system starting this November, and you may want to check out whether you’re eligible to participate or not. The end of October for Xbox Game Pass members is looking a bit grim, as subscribers are going to lose nine games in one day, some of which are pretty remarkable. In direct contrast, however, the arrival of November may be a shining light for some members and even interested players who aren’t currently subscribed to Microsoft’s subscription service.

According to a new official statement issued by the company in a post on Xbox Wire, Xbox Game Pass is going to change in November 2026 with a new update. As seen in the statement, Xbox Game Pass is teaming up with T-Mobile in the United States to offer customers a new plan. T-Mobile announced the T-Mix, and customers can choose the benefits that are included within their wireless plan, and that includes the gaming subscription service. This will be the first time that Xbox Game Pass becomes available via a wireless plan in the U.S., as confirmed by Microsoft.

As seen in the report on Xbox Wire, eligible T-Mix customers will be able to choose between Game Pass Premium or Game Pass Ultimate as part of their T-Mobile benefits. As is the case with any Xbox Game Pass membership, they’ll be able to play games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake with Xbox Game Pass on any compatible devices, such as “Xbox consoles, Smart TVs, PCs, and more.” Eligibility is described in detail in the T-Mix announcement on the official T-Mobile website.

In short, the Xbox Game Pass membership comes as part of a pick system applied to the T-Mix plan. Depending on how you sign up for the plan, you’ll be given access to certain types of picks, and among some of them is Xbox Game Pass. Other benefits included for picking are Apple TV, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube Premium, Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, and more. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone, and if you’re a gamer who qualifies, you may get access to hundreds of free games on Xbox Game Pass without having to pay more for the subscription.

The Xbox Game Pass and T-Mobile logos are set together as part of the new partnership.

It’s a pretty great moment for Xbox Game Pass. Even though the service goes through the regular cycle of losing games every month, only to have new ones added to the catalog, there are some hits arriving. On top of the aforementioned addition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade to the catalog, members can expect a new 10/10 horror masterpiece on Xbox Game Pass within a few days, plus several other to-be-announced games for November. Looking a bit into the future, we’ll also get Fable and Persona 4 Revival.

If you were looking for a way to be a member without directly subscribing to the service, this new option with T-Mobile’s T-Mix plan may be made for you. Of course, study it and see if it makes sense for your needs – and if it does, it may be a way of integrating Xbox Game Pass into your routine.
