Andrea Bocelli to embark on 2027 UK tour for 30th anniversary of Romanza album

Andrea Bocelli will embark on a tour of the UK in 2027 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his hit album Romanza.

Bocelli said: “I am incredibly excited to be returning to the UK in 2027 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Romanza with some very special concerts.

“I love performing there, and I can’t wait to create some more magical moments with my fans.”

Released in 1997, Romanza was Bocelli’s first compilation album and is considered his breakthrough record, topping charts in Europe and Latin America.

It has become both the bestselling Italian language and the bestselling predominantly non-English language album of all time, with over 20 million copies sold.

The album features Con Te partirò, the song that became synonymous with Bocelli’s emergence onto the international stage.

Its duet version with Sarah Brightman, Time To Say Goodbye, went on to become a global phenomenon, helping take Bocelli’s voice to audiences beyond the world of classical music.

The tour begins at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on September 29, followed by The O2 in London on October 1, Co-op Love in Manchester on October 5 and Ovo Hydro Glasgow on October 9.

Tickets go on sale on Friday October 2 at 10am, while the social fan presale begins on Wednesday September 30 at 10am.

Bocelli has released 17 studio albums and four compilation albums during his career, selling over 90 million records worldwide.
