Pokémon has been active for 30 years now, and it shows. While mainline games can take a while to come out, shifting strategies and an uncertain climate make merchandise and other releases paramount for keeping people interested in Pokémon at any given time.

For years, many fans relied on the TCG to stay invested, but opportunities to reliably pick up cards haven't been as strong in recent years. That's OK, though, because Pokémon: Winter Night Sky, rolling out right now, will make some fans happy.

Now, Pokémon has officially confirmed that brand-new Winter releases are around the corner, and you'll want to check them out as soon as you can.

Starting now and into this Winter, you can find an array of new holiday items in the Pokémon Center storefront. Here's some stuff you can find from the Holiday collection:

  • Festive Pikachu & Eevee Medium Gift Box
  • Lugia & Ho-Oh Gift Tags (5-Pack)
  • Mew Pokémon Holiday Plush Hat
  • Festive Pikachu Allover Large Gift Bag
  • Winter Night Sky Holiday Greeting Cards (10-Pack)
  • Pikachu Pokémon Holiday Plush Hat
  • Festive Pikachu Allover Small Gift Bag
  • Mew Globe Ornament

The big focus here, however, is the Winter Night Sky collection, which features some pretty heavy-hitting Pokémon, like Piplup, Pikachu, Mew, Frosmoth, and Amaura. That collection is pretty fully featured, with items like ornaments, snow globes, hats, gift bags, pins, and more.

It's arguably one of the sleekest collections ever featured in the Pokémon Center, with a lovely blue-colored palette and a great selection of Pokémon. Mew often makes it into marketing, but you don't always see an entire product line dedicated to it.

There's also another added bonus this year. If you buy anything in the "Holiday collection" category, you'll get a free Winter Night Sky sticker sheet. The promo will run from October 14 through December 25 at 11:59PM PST. Be sure to check the product listing to confirm eligibility; it will have a visible promotion box.

Also remember that Pokémon is currently distributing a Halloween collection too. Right now, you can shop for Halloween dinner plates and Winter wear at the same time, during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.

Finally, the Pokémon Red & Pokémon Blue Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox is back in stock and readily available in the store for $69.99. Here's the gist: "In this special collection, you'll find Game Boy Jukebox, a sound toy modeled after the original Game Boy system from Nintendo, along with 45 cartridges that you can insert into the device to hear a familiar melody or sound effect from the original Pokémon video games."

In other words, thereare a ton of Pokémon to buy right now, even if they don't involve in-stock TCG products.
