Noel Gallagher Touts Buenos Aires as Oasis’ Best Show of 2025 Reunion Tour: “They’re Heaven-Sent People”

Noel Gallagher has no doubt about which show stood above the rest during Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour: the band’s second night in Buenos Aires.

During an appearance on talkSPORT, Gallagher singled out Oasis’ November 16th concert at Estadio Monumental as the best of the entire run. “It’s one of those gigs that none of us will ever forget,” he said, adding that “you had to be there” to fully understand it.

His comments arrive a day after Oasis confirmed their reunion will continue with the newly announced “Live ’27” tour, featuring dates across the UK, Europe, and the US.

Gallagher also praised the Argentine audience while joking about the countries’ football rivalry. “I know people don’t want to hear it after the World Cup, but those people from that country, in that stadium… they’re heaven-sent people,” he said. “It’s unbelievable when Oasis play Buenos Aires.”

Oasis played two sold-out River Plate shows on November 15th and 16th, drawing roughly 150,000 fans across the weekend.

The concerts continue to resonate: a photograph of a fan standing amid a massive mosh pit at one of the River Plate shows was named a finalist for Music Moment of the Year at the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards last week.

Gallagher said Oasis didn’t play “one bad gig” throughout the tour, but when asked to pick the best, Buenos Aires was his clear choice.

Ticket registration for “Oasis Live ’27” is now open through Thursday, September 17th at 4:00 p.m. BST / 5:00 p.m. CEST / 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET. Successful registrants will receive a unique, non-transferable code for an assigned on-sale window. Ticket sales will begin Friday, September 25th, with specific on-sale times varying by city, including across the US. There will be no general on-sale or other public pre-sales. Standard tickets are priced between $122.65 and $541.05, including fees and taxes. Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster.
