Sara Duterte highlights local tourism following visit to Palawan's Bato ni Ningning

Vice President Sara Duterte on Saturday shared photos of her visit to Bato ni Ningning, a popular tourist spot in Barangay Sto. Niño, San Vicente, Palawan.

“Labis ang aking kasiyahan na mapuntahan at masilayan, noong mga nakaraang buwan, ang Bato ni Ningning sa Barangay Sto. Niño, na dinarayo ng maraming turista dahil sa preskong hangin at napakagandang tanawin,” Duterte said in a social media post.

(I am overjoyed to have visited and seen Bato ni Ningning in Barangay Sto. Niño in recent months, a place frequented by many tourists for its cool breeze and breathtaking views.)

“Matatanaw mula rito ang nakamamanghang kagandahan ng mga baybayin ng San Vicente, na kabilang sa mga kilalang destinasyon sa buong Palawan,” she added.

Duterte said she takes pride in the Philippines’ natural attractions and that visiting provinces is one way to promote local tourism.

“Lagi kong sinasabi at ipinagmamalaki na sa ating bansang Pilipinas makikita ang ilan sa mga pinakamagagandang lugar at baybayin sa buong mundo,” Duterte wrote.

(I always say and take pride in the fact that the Philippines is home to some of the most beautiful places and coastlines in the world.)

“At ang ating pagbisita sa mga lalawigan ay isa sa mga pamamaraan upang maisulong ang lokal na turismo at makatulong sa lokal na ekonomiya ng isang lugar,” she added.
