Enugu Assembly dissolves its health committee, gives reasons

Translate

The Enugu State House of Assembly has dissolved its Committee on Health over alleged gross misconduct and highhandedness.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Uche Ugwu, announced the dissolution of the Committee on Tuesday during its plenary in Enugu.

The affected members are Okechukwu Aneke (Udi South), Harrison Ogara (Igbo-Eze South), Osita Okoh (Enugu East Urban) and Anthony Nwankwo (Awgu South).

Mr Ugwu said the dissolution became necessary following the unruly behaviour exhibited by the committee chairman, Mr Aneke, at the last executive session on 21 September.
