The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported that there were 60,411 outbound passengers and 54,291 inbound passengers across all ports nationwide on Saturday morning ahead of All Saint's Day 2026.
In a statement, the PCG said the numbers were recorded from 6 a.m. to 12 noon of October 31.
For Undas 2026, the PCG said a total of 6,221 frontline personnel from 17 PCG Districts have been deployed, conducting inspections on 540 vessels and 806 motorized outriggers.
"The PCG has placed all its districts, stations, and sub-stations on heightened alert from October 29 to November 3, 2026, in anticipation of the increased volume of passengers traveling for Undas 2026," it said.
The PCG advised the seafaring public to coordinate with the PCG through its official Facebook page or contact the Coast Guard Public Affairs Service (CGPAS) at 0927-560-7729.
More than 141,000 personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and partner agencies, including the PCG, will be deployed nationwide for security and public safety operations during Undas 2026. — VDV, GMA News
