KDE Waste, Caltex tie up on fleet fuel management

Translate

KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd has partnered with Caltex Malaysia to streamline fuel purchases for compactor and Armroll/RORO trucks operated by its appointed subcontractors.

Under the partnership, subcontractors can use Caltex StarCard fleet cards to refuel registered vehicles at participating Caltex stations.

Each card links to a vehicle's registration number, allowing fuel transactions and expenditure to be tracked more systematically.

Caltex Malaysia country chairman Leong Jee Wong said the StarCard system would give KDE Waste Management and its subcontractors greater control over fleet-related fuel expenses while improving convenience and security.

The system allows businesses to monitor spending, generate reports and manage fleet expenses through its mobile and web platforms.

Purchase limits can also be set, with transaction records and account statements are provided based on agreed terms and conditions.

Security features include PIN activation and fraud detection through StarCard Online, Caltex said.

The partnership is aimed at supporting KDE Waste Management's subcontractors in managing fuel requirements for daily domestic waste collection and public cleansing operations across Selangor.
