5 changes: Orlando Pirates’ expected starting 11 vs Sekhukhune United

The match kicks off at 19:30, with the Orlando Pirates returning to action just three days after facing Babina Noko in Polokwane.

Head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is therefore expected to rotate his squad as he manages the demands of a congested schedule. The Buccaneers secured a 1-0 victory over Sekhukhune United in the MTN8 semi-final first leg and will now face the same opponents again in the league.

FIVE CHANGES EXPECTED FOR ORLANDO PIRATES

The demanding full-back positions could see at least one change, with Nkosikhona Ndaba expected to replace Deon Hotto on the left side.

There are also expected to be changes in central midfield, where Abdoulaye Mariko and Cemran Dansin could come into the starting XI. The pair are expected to replace Mthiyane Mtheleleli and Thapelo Mokobodi.

On the left wing, Daniel Msendami is tipped to get the nod ahead of Oswin Appollis. Msendami will provide fresh energy to an attack that could also feature another change through the middle.

Norwegian striker Sebastian Pedersen is expected to make his first start for the Buccaneers. Yanela Mbuthuma is likely to drop to the bench.

EXPECTED STARTING XI VS SEKHUKHUNE UNITED

The changes could see Sipho Chaine retain his place in goal. Kamogelo Sebelebele and Nkosinathi Sibisi are expected to continue in defence alongside Lebone Seema.

Ndaba should complete the expected back four, while Mariko and Dansin are tipped to form the central midfield partnership.

Further forward, Simphiwe Masilela could operate in the number 10 role. Msendami and Ghampani Lungu are also expected to feature wide, while Pedersen leads the line.
