Psikyo Arcade Shooters Get Psikyo Memories Collection Release
Edia announced on Wednesday that it is developing Psikyo Memories, a collection of '90s arcade scrolling shooter games by Psikyo. Edia also revealed the collection will include Strikers 1945.
The company's pamphlet at its booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026 lists the game will launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, and lists it will include Gunbird.
The game collection will also feature a gallery of archive materials from the games.
Psikyo's arcade shooters have had previous collection releases on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4, and Switch. The latest release is Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha and Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo, which launched on the Switch in 2020, and on the PS4 in 2022.
Psikyo announced a Psikyo Shooting Collection release for the PlayStation 5 in 2020, but has since not released it. The collection would have included Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, Strikers 1999, Gunbird, Gunbird 2, Gunbarich, Samurai Aces Episode I, Samurai Aces Episode II: Tengai, Samurai Aces Episode III: Sengoku Cannon, Dragon Blade, Zero Gunner 2, and Sol Divide: Sword of Darkness.
