Fontaines D.C. Release New Duet with Rosalía “Where Is Gone?”: Stream

Fontaines D.C. have released “Where Is Gone?,” their new duet with Spanish singer Rosalía that serves as the third and final single from their upcoming album Dopamine Chamber.

A slow-burning ballad, “Where Is Gone?” finds Rosalía and frontman Grian Chatten flooded in atmosphere and crooning over romantic, weeping strings. They take turns in the verses before meeting in the middle for the chorus, with Chatten’s booming voice down the octave and Rosalía’s smoky tone above it; throughout, they describe a romance that is fraying. “There’s no harm in saying leave and let it die,” Chatten and Rosalía sing at the refrain’s climax.

“Where Is Gone?” marks the first Fontaines D.C. song to include a guest vocalist. Regarding the choice to invite Rosalía to contribute, guitarist Carlos O’Connell said in a statement, “I’ve been a fan of Rosalía since her debut album, which was absolutely beautiful,” he said. “What really excited me was how she was keeping a Spanish tradition of music alive, which in a spiritual way felt akin to what we’ve tried to do with Irish music. For someone with roots in both countries, it’s been beautiful to see. She’s an artist who’s blown me away at every stage since.” Stream “Where Is Gone?” below.

Dopamine Chamber, Fontaines D.C.’s highly anticipated fifth album, is out this Friday, October 16th. They’ve previewed the new record with lead single “Marianne,” followed by “Tongue.” The Irish band will support their new record with a massive 2027 North American tour taking place in the spring and fall. See their tour dates below and get tickets here.

Rosalía, meanwhile, just performed on Saturday Night Live last weekend, providing stunning renditions of “Reliquia” and “Magnolias” from her 2025 album LUX.
