India’s Kidambi Srikanth is the last Indian left in the men’s singles draw at the Denmark Open 2026. He plays France’s Alex Lanier in the round of 16 on Thursday, October 15. The match is expected to start at 3:50 pm IST, though the exact time depends on how long the matches before it on court run.

Where to watch

Live streaming: BWF’s YouTube channel

TV: There is no live telecast of the Denmark Open on any TV channel in India.

How Srikanth got here

The world No. 31 beat France’s Arnaud Merkle 22-20, 21-19 in 46 minutes in the first round. Srikanth won the title in Odense in 2017, and this is his return to a tournament where he has a winning history.

How Lanier got here

The seventh seed and world No. 8 beat Hu Zhe An 21-18, 21-13 to reach the last 16. In August this year, Lanier won the men’s badminton singles title at the 2026 BWF World Championships, defeating Naraoka Kodai 21-11, 21-11 in New Delhi, India. He’s the first French player to win the men’s singles world title.
