Announced alongside a now-released remaster of the 2015 RPG, Songs of the Past will give us one last chance to step into Geralt's boots before he makes way for Ciri.

We're also still waiting on news on The Witcher remake from Fool's Theory, but this will certainly keep us busy in the meantime.

So, for all the news on the new Witcher 3 DLC, here are the details about the Songs of the Past release date, pre-orders and more.

The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past DLC is said to be Geralt’s last adventure before handing the reins to Siri.

It’s set in an entirely new realm, Letten, which developers CD Projekt RED describe as "an idyllic land of rural tradition that hides a dark secret just below the surface", and there are "dozens of new quests, points of interest, and more" for players to delve into.

What’s more, Geralt’s iconic chain weapon from the opening cinematic of the first game can finally be used, and as evidenced by the teaser trailer, Geralt uses it to brutal effect.
