Daniel Henney has joined the cast of Apple TV’s upcoming action thriller “Disavowed.”

Per the longline, “Disavowed” follows “legendary CIA case officer Brad Griffin, who is abruptly fired in the middle of a global hunt for an elusive assassin responsible for killing his colleague. Disgraced and outcast from the world of intelligence, all bets are off when Brad decides to go after the 15 million dollar federal bounty on the assassin’s head.”

Henney joins James Marsden who stars as Brad Griffin, Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead”) and Bokeem Woodbine (FX’s “Fargo”). Henney will play Jae Chun, a successful attorney to high-profile figures.

Henney’s previous works include starring as Lan Mandragoran opposite Rosamund Pike in Prime Video’s “The Wheel of Time.” The 28-year-old American actor got his start in Korea with the 2005 romantic comedy-drama “My Lovely Sam-Soon.” He later starred in “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” and “Criminal Minds.” His film credits include “Missing, X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and “Big Hero 6,” in which he voiced Tadashi Hamada. He also voices Jinn in the English version of the Netflix series “Genie, Make a Wish.”

The “Disavowed” series was originally announced back in May with Marsden in the lead role. The release date is yet to be announced. It is created and executive produced by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. Tom Spezialy and Marsden will also executive produce.
