The Multimedia Group Limited has been named Marketing-Oriented Media Organisation of the Year for 2025 at the 37th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).

The award was presented at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in recognition of the Group’s use of radio, television and digital platforms to drive public engagement and audience participation.

In its citation, CIMG praised the Group for turning audience attention into public conversation and participation, highlighting its JoyNews Impact Maker Awards and other audience-focused initiatives.

“The Multimedia Group has used its radio, television and digital platforms to turn audience attention into public conversation and participation,” the citation read.

It added that the Group’s initiatives demonstrated “the value of strong editorial brands supported by coordinated marketing”.

The citation also highlighted the Group’s reported audience shares for 2025, putting television at 28 per cent, Accra radio at 46.9 per cent and Kumasi radio at 43.2 per cent.

CIMG further noted the reach of the 2026 JoyNews Impact Maker Awards, which attracted about 2,000 attendees and 34 corporate participants.

The institute said the Group’s marketing approach extended beyond broadcasting messages to creating platforms where audiences could gather, contribute and share experiences.

“The marketing achievement extends beyond broadcasting a message. By giving your audience a reason to gather, contribute and share stories, the Group turns its media properties into platforms for participation,” the citation stated.

It described the Impact Maker event as an example of how editorial trust could support experiences that deliver value to communities and partners.

In its concluding remarks, CIMG commended the Group’s performance and its position in Ghana’s media industry.

“Your continuous exploit in this arena sets you apart as media house of choice,” the citation stated.

The institute subsequently adjudged Multimedia Group Limited the Marketing-Oriented Media Organisation of the Year for 2025.

The Multimedia Group operates radio, television and digital platforms in Ghana. Its brands include Joy 99.7 FM, JoyNews, Adom FM, Hitz FM, Asempa FM, Luv FM, Nhyira FM and MyJoyOnline.com.

The award recognises the Group’s marketing performance and its use of established media brands and audience-focused initiatives to strengthen public engagement.
