Jon Gosselin Filming Netflix Tell-All Documentary About ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ With Kids Collin and Hannah

“Jon & Kate Plus 8″ is getting the behind-the-scenes treatment per Netflix.
Patriarch Jon Gosselin and two of his kids, Collin and Hannah, are filming a Netflix documentary about their time filming the show, the streamer announced.
Per the official logline, “For nearly a decade, a family’s chaos and love played out on TV as comfort viewing. Years later, conflicting accounts have emerged from within the family itself — competing memories of the same childhood, the same home, the same spotlight. The new documentary takes a closer look, piecing together the story from every angle: the children who grew up on camera, the adults who built a brand around them, and the audience that couldn’t look away. It’s an intimate look at how real life became a phenomenon the world thought it knew.”
Producing the project are Mike Gasparro and Julia Willoughby-Nason for The Cinemart (“American Murder: Gabby Petito,” “Death of the Pastor’s Wife”).
“Jon & Kate Plus 8” ran for eleven seasons, from 2007-2017, starting on Discovery Health before moving to TLC. The show documented the Gosselin family, which included sextuplets and twins. Jon and Kate split during the series, which then rebranded to Kate Plus 8.
Collin recently published a memoir, “In The Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” which alleged that his mother mistreated him during his childhood and the filming of the show.
