LIST: How senator-judges voted on threshold to convict Sara Duterte

The Senate impeachment court on Wednesday decided to lower the required vote to convict Vice President Sara Duterte, adjusting the two-thirds threshold to cover only the senator-judges who are legally eligible to take part.

Here are the 13 senator-judges who supported Senator-judge Erwin Tulfo's motion to appeal the July 6 decision, which had originally fixed the conviction threshold at 16 votes, representing two-thirds of the entire 24-member Senate:

• Paolo Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV
• JV Ejercito
• Sherwin Gatchalian
• Risa Hontiveros
• Panfilo Lacson
• Lito Lapid
• Francis Pangilinan
• Vicente "Tito" Sotto III
• Erwin Tulfo
• Raffy Tulfo
• Joel Villanueva
• Mark Villar
• Juan Miguel Zubiri

Of the 13, only Villar came from the minority bloc.

On the other hand, Senate impeachment court presiding officer Francis Escudero was the lone senator-judge to vote “no”.

Meanwhile, six senator-judges from the minority bloc did not participate in the voting. They are:

• Alan Peter Cayetano
• Pia Cayetano
• Christopher Go
• Imee Marcos
• Robin Padilla
• Camille Villar

The five other minority senator-judges earlier sided in favor of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano's motion to defer the voting threshold issue to the Supreme Court.

The latest ruling by the Senate impeachment court would mean that the four absent senators will not be allowed to participate in the voting even via teleconferencing.

Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Rodante Marcoleta are detained on plunder and other related charges due to their alleged involvement in flood control and undeclared campaign donations, respectively.

Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, meanwhile, remains at large amid a warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court in connection to the previous administration's bloody drug war.

Senator Loren Legarda recently extended her medical leave abroad due to a lung condition. —AOL, GMA News
