‘A Thousand Blows,’ ‘Man vs. Baby,’ ‘Careme’ Among 2026 International Emmy Nominees

The Netflix comedies Man vs. Baby and Old Dog, New Tricks and AppleTV+’s French drama Careme are nominated at the upcoming International Emmy Awards from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

In all, 64 nominees across 16 categories spanning 22 countries were announced on Wednesday. The winners will be announced on Nov. 23 at the 54th International Emmys ceremony in New York City.

The U.K. led the field with 15 nominations, followed by Brazil with nine and Spain with four. The best drama series competition includes nominations for Steven Knight’s Hulu boxing drama A Thousand Blows; Apple TV+’s French-language foodie-themed period drama Careme; Menem, the Amazon MGM Studios series for Argentina; and Real Kashmir Football Club from India.

The comedy nominees are for the second season of Argentina’s Division Palermo (Community Squad); Netflix’s Man Vs Baby for the U.K., which stars Rowan Atkinson’s as a blundering father; Spain’s Old Dog, New Tricks; and India’s Vir Das: Fool Volume.

In the best actor category, Javier Camara in Yakarta and Ricardo Darin in The Eternaut will vie against Ian Roberts in A Kind of Madness and Bobby Schofield in Unforgivable. And the best actress competition will see the Holy Shit star Mona Mina Leon and Barbara Mori in Lucca’s World go up against Park Ji-hyun in You and Everything Else and Sheridan Smith for I Fought The Law.
