Gilmore Girls: Synopsis & Cast

Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, Gilmore Girls follows the lives of single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her overachieving daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel) in the small fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Lorelai can’t afford private school for Rory, so she turns to her wealthy, yet estranged, parents Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop).

The TV drama stars Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Liza Weil, Chris Eigeman, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry and Sean Gunn.
