Star Detective Precure! Joins Street Fighter 6 in 4-Part Collaboration
The Street Fighter franchise made a shocking and surprising announcement on Sunday. CAPCOM's Street Fighter 6 game will collaborate with the Star Detective Precure! anime. The Star Detective Precure! team will solve mysteries in Street Fighter 6's Battlehub in an original four-part story beginning on December 17.
The official website for the Street Fighter franchise revealed that the first part of the story will see the Precure girls solve a case involving a destroyed arcade machine. The story will feature Street Fighter 6 characters Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly in the art style of Star Detective Precure!
The collaboration will include "avatar items" and special illustration fliers distributed at tie-in events, CAPCOM stores, and Precure Pretty Store across Japan. The fliers will feature an original collaboration illustration by CAPCOM illustrator Tamio.
As of press time, the collaboration has only been announced in Japan, and no plans have been announced for an international release.
Street Fighter 6 launched in June 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. CAPCOM later released the game on Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025. The Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition version also launched in June 2025.
The Star Detective Precure! anime, the 23rd installment of the Precure franchise, debuted on February 1 on ABC TV, TV Asahi, and their affiliate channels. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and CIS.
