Ghai unveils Manya poster: Director marks 50 years with Talpade reunion

Subhash Ghai, who marks 50 years in Indian cinema this year, has revealed a fresh poster for his upcoming film 'Manya', featuring Shreyas Talpade. Released on October 24, the poster arrived on the 48th anniversary of Ghai’s production house, Mukta Arts.

The project brings Ghai and Talpade back together almost two decades after Iqbal, the 2005 sports drama that brought the actor widespread recognition.

What ‘Manya’ is about

Helmed by Sameer Joshi, 'Manya' follows the life of a juvenile boy and aims to look at the human story behind his circumstances instead of focusing only on crime. Samvedna Suwalka, Divya Sharma, Priyadarshini Pooja and Zoheb Farooqui play key roles.

Subhash Ghai on reuniting with Shreyas Talpade

Speaking about the film and the Mukta Arts anniversary, Ghai reflected on reuniting with Talpade and collaborating with a fresh crop of actors.

As reported by News18, he said, “This milestone marks a significant beginning in Mukta Arts Journey with more exciting projects and with stories that matter, first of which is Manya. Working with Shreyas after almost 2 decades has been great, reminded me of his caliber and range he brings to the table and also all the wonderful cast on this film who brought dept to the story.

New and upcoming talents have a lot of potential and that can be seen in other characters in this film portrayed so beautifully. Can’t wait for all to see the journey of Manya through our eyes”.
