WATCH | Baby Alert: Chef Onezwa Mbola debuts her growing baby bump

Translate

Chef extraordinaire and author Onezwa Mbola is one happy and glowing mama-to-be.

Mbola made her pregnancy announcement on social media on Tuesday, first showing us her Spring Day garden blooms and then her bourgeoning baby bump was introduced.

“It is the first of September, the day we all decided to recognise a spring day in the Southern Hemisphere. So here’s everything that I am growing this spring. Lots of beautiful kale in my garden. Gorgeous leeks that made it through the winter. Lots of big, beautiful sweet beetroot. Strawberries are also looking really, really good. I always, always have tomatoes. Carrots, Gorgeous red onion. All those big leafies was charred. I’m still growing some cabbages. I’m also growing a baby,” said the happy Mbola.

We have seen Mbola’s seven-year-old, an adorable boy who sometimes makes a cameo in his mother’s videos.

By all indication – thanks to the pink baby shoes in the video, the new addition to the family is a little girl.

Onezwa Mbola, The Author

Best known for her mouth-watering home grown, organic produce and truely ‘from scratch’ recipes, Mbola recently launched her first recipe book, A Food Love Story, that put all her best dishes in one place for her fans to try.

This comes after years of perfecting her dishes in her kitchen and sharing with the audience that she’s grown over time.
