Report Juventus want Kovacic, Raum and Tomori as free agents in 2027

Juventus are reportedly working on bargains for next season already, including Manchester City’s Mateo Kovacic, David Raum of RB Leipzig and Milan defender Fikayo Tomori.

The Bianconeri have shown in recent years that they are more than capable of preparing the groundwork for future deals, for example securing Jonathan David as a free agent.

With the financial squeeze of failing to qualify for the Champions League, they are even more determined to find free agents, even if it means starting the talks many months in advance.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are three names on the wish list who can be approached with their contracts running down at the end of the season.

Director Frederic Massara was the man who brought Tomori to Milan from Chelsea, and is now eager to reunite with the defender at Juventus.

Tomori had been pushed to the edges of the project by Ruben Amorim this summer, only to be welcomed back when failing to find a new club that he would accept.

Another player on the Juve radar is left-back Raum of RB Leipzig, although Manchester United are also hot on his trail.

An intriguing option is represented by Kovacic, who at age 32 is still far from finished, yet finds himself pushed to the margins by the many new arrivals at Manchester City.

The Croatia international will be out of contract next summer and is no stranger to Serie A, having played for Inter from 2013 to 2015.

Kovacic has since gone on to Real Madrid, Chelsea and from 2023 at Manchester City.
