Cindy chastises Max in front of everyone, as Linda is adamant nothing happened between them until after Cindy and Max's split.

"He hasn't done anything wrong, I'm the one who told him I loved him," Linda insists, though when Cindy demands to know when, Linda admits it was the night before the wedding.

Cindy then slaps Linda, though when talking it out Linda insists that she and Max are in "love". However, Cindy wishes her "good luck", insisting she'll "need it" given Max's reputation.

Later on, Cindy and Elaine Peacock bond over their mutual hatred of Max at the shop alongside Honey Mitchell, though when Oscar pops by, he quietly suggests Cindy keep quiet about Max's role in Zoe's death.

However, after speaking to Kat, who notes how many women Max treated badly over the years, Cindy is encouraged to make Max "pay". Sure enough, later on she pops by Max and Linda, pushing to change Linda's mind with the "truth".

"It was him. He left Zoe to die," Cindy declares, leading Linda to question Max. Cindy and Max then begin to sling mud, and Cindy warns Linda to run a mile to save herself.

After she leaves, Linda presses Max on her claims, including money transferred to Cindy to keep her quiet and Oscar's knowledge.

Max eventually manages to win Linda to his side – but will Cindy manage to convince her?
