Pertamina helps five MSMEs tap global markets

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina has facilitated five micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing international market opportunities through the 51st ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE) Council Meeting 2026, held in Bali.
“They showcased their flagship Balinese products while opening up opportunities to reach global markets during the international event,” Pertamina Vice President of Corporate Communication Muhammad Baron said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
The five MSMEs - Toosi Coffee, Econiq, Bali Pures, Haluan Bali, and Pertenunan Astini - presented a range of products, from coffee and sustainability-focused goods to items showcasing Indonesia’s natural resources and creative industries.
Baron said the participation of the Pertamina-supported MSMEs in the forum, held from October 16 to 28, 2026, provided opportunities to promote their products, expand business networks, and explore potential partnerships.
“By gaining access to an international forum, these local products can gain wider recognition and better opportunities to enter broader markets,” he added.
The initiative also generated tangible business results. During the event, the five MSMEs recorded sales transactions worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, while also identifying prospects for continued market engagement.
Baron said empowering MSMEs was part of the company’s commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
“We hope that the growth of these MSMEs will also generate direct economic and social benefits for the community,” he said.
Through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Pertamina continues to encourage the MSMEs it supports to strengthen their business capacity, expand their market reach, and develop their operations sustainably, Baron added.
He said Pertamina was committed to creating more opportunities for the supported MSMEs to grow and become increasingly competitive.
“With high-quality local products and broader market access, these MSMEs are expected not only to drive the regional economy but also to showcase Indonesia’s potential to the global market,” Baron said.
