Weverse Con Festival is heading to India.

HYBE’s flagship global music fest will stage its international debut next March in New Delhi. Indeed, the festival, set for March 27–28, 2027, will mark the first-ever edition of Weverse Con Festival outside South Korea.

The new two-day fest will feature “a diverse lineup of global, K-pop, and Indian artists across dynamic live performances and fan-centered experiences,” reads a statement from HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment), the South Korean multinational entertainment and lifestyle platform conglomerate that has powered the careers of BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN and others.

Superfan platform Weverse will join HYBE as a partner on the India fest, the lineup for which has yet to be announced.

“Weverse Con Festival India marks a new chapter in our ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy and reflects our commitment to India as a key market in HYBE’s global growth,” comments Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE.

“By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences. We look forward to bringing fans together to discover a new universe of music and unlock an immersive journey where they can connect, celebrate, and explore new possibilities alongside the artists they love.”

The launch of Weverse Con Festival India will be seen as another sign that the country’s live music circuit is ready to take the next step. The world’s most popular market, India will welcome tours from Guns N’ Roses and Fred Again later this year, while Dua Lipa performed for Indian audiences in 2024, and the likes of U2 and Katy Perry toured pre-pandemic.

The forthcoming event is an extension to HYBE’s existing presence in the market through HYBE INDIA, which operates out of Mumbai and has been conducting nationwide auditions since earlier this year to form a next-generation global girl group, a hunt for Indian talent that make waves worldwide.

Tickets for Weverse Con Festival India will be available exclusively through BookMyShow. Details on the lineup and ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
