'Jailer 2' star Apeksha Porwal reveals her surprise moment with Rajinikanth

Actress Apeksha Porwal has stepped into Tamil cinema with 'Jailer 2,' starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film brings her into a star-studded world of action, comedy, and surprise appearances. Speaking with Variety India about sharing screen space with Rajinikanth, Apeksha Porwal said his personality left a strong impression on her. “Everyone knows Rajinikanth and his stardom, but I got to see it up close, and it was surreal,” she said. She was particularly struck by how he treated people around him despite his immense fame.

“I have never seen a star of his stature being so humble, simple, and kind to everyone around him.

His humility and aura precede him,” the actress added.

Apeksha Porwal also spoke about working around the film’s impressive lineup of stars, including Hrithik Roshan. She appears alongside him in the climax sequence and recalled the atmosphere on the set. “I am a part of the climax sequence with Hrithik Roshan. I still remember the energy on set was just different that day,” she said.

Praising his approach to work, she added, “He is extremely thorough, professional and focused.

There’s definitely a reason he’s called the Greek God!”

The actress also enjoyed working with director Nelson Dilipkumar, known for combining dark humour with larger-than-life visuals. She said his calm nature helped create a comfortable atmosphere on set. “He has a very clear vision and knows how to draw the right performance out of his actors,” she said.
