Harrison Harvey Promoted To Agent At IAG

Translate

EXCLUSIVE: Independent Artist Group has upped Harrison Harvey to talent agent.

Harrison has been working on CEO Jim Osborne‘s desk for two years, making valued contributions across his client roster and playing an increasingly active role in identifying new business and talent opportunities. Going forward, he’ll continue to work closely alongside Osborne and talent department head Andrew Rogers. He’s based out of IAG’s Los Angeles headquarters.

In a statement on the promotion, Osborne said, “Potential agents tend to reveal themselves long before they have the title. They make valuable contributions without being asked and find opportunities in places you don’t necessarily expect. Harrison loves this business, consumes it and has terrific instincts. Over the past two years, he has become an invaluable part of my daily operations and has made meaningful contributions to our clients and our business, including identifying and helping secure the initial meeting that ultimately led to one of our highest-profile client signings of the past year. This promotion is richly deserved.”

Harvey is now part of a group of agents who got their start as lead assistants to Osborne, including Andrew Finkelstein of WME, as well as IAG agents Kris Heller, Phil Fernandez and Lindsay Wirkus.

Osborne underscored that taking note of young talent and providing opportunities for mentorship “is a vital part of an agency’s culture, and it is something we take very seriously at IAG.”

He said, “I was fortunate to learn that from my mentor, Ed Limato, and I’m proud to carry that tradition forward. There is nothing more rewarding than watching talented young people develop into successful agents.”

Harvey joined IAG in 2023, beginning his career in the agency’s New York mailroom before working his way up through the company. A native of Westchester, New York, he’s a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.

The newly minted agent told Deadline, “Working alongside Jim for the past two years has been an incredible education. He has given me the opportunity to learn this business firsthand — not just how to represent clients, but how to identify opportunities, build relationships and think strategically about their careers. I’m both excited and grateful to continue to learn from him and make valuable contributions to the careers of our clients.”
