Asia Rose Simpson of the Philippines is still in the running for the “blue crown” after advancing to the Top 20 during the Miss World 2026 coronation night on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The Top 20 delegates who made it were the following:

Malaysia’s Taanusiya Chetty and Zimbabwe’s Brunette Makanyiso entered the next round after emerging as the Top 2 Beauty with a Purpose winners, while Zambia’s Dr Adah Mushibi, Simpson, France’s Indira Ampiot made the cut for respectively winning the Multimedia, Head-to-head, and Top Model challenges.

Simpson, meanwhile, hopes to post the Philippines’ second Miss World title, after Megan Young in 2013.
Held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, the finals night will culminate with reigning Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri relinquishing her crown to the new titleholder. /edv
