‘Spirit of lust’: Bernard Parker hints at struggles?

Translate

Bernard Parker has reposted several telling Instagram posts, hinting at infidelity, lust and a “miserable marriage”. This comes as the former Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs player – now coach of TS Galaxy – announced his split from his baby mama, Kacha Stepanovic, in a social media post.

The 40-year-old has not disclosed when or why he separated from his wife, Wendy Parker, whom he married in 2012.

BERNARD PARKER’S CRYPTIC REPOSTS

On his Instagram account, Bernard Parker has reposted several telling faith-based Reels about men who seemingly struggle with monogamy.

One was about “the spirit of lust” and featured a preacher warning Christians about “sex with demons”. Others were warnings about lust and “staying away from bad women”

Another was a segment of a message from a preacher, which was titled: “What to do when your marriage is miserable”. A different message featured another preacher calling on individuals to ask their families and partners for forgiveness after “destroying” a marriage.

‘PERSONAL ADDICTIONS’

In his statement posted on Monday, 12 October, Bernard Parker alluded to being unfaithful to his former partner, Kacha Stepanovic, who is allegedly the mother of his baby daughter.

He shared: “I want to be honest about my part in our journey. I have made mistakes and struggled with personal addictions that have affected my life and the people I love.

“Kacha, I’m truly sorry for the times I hurt you, let you down, and caused you pain. You gave me love, support, patience and kindness that I’ve never received before. I take responsibility for my mistakes, knowing that some things cannot simply be undone with an apology”

On her social media account, Kacha Stepanovic reposted Bernard Parker’s statement.

She also hinted at his alleged infidelity.

She shared on her IG Stories: “Lust and addiction will strip you of your family, your work, your name and everything you built.

“If betrayal was so easy, the devil would be next seated at the throne. Make sure whatever you do is worth losing it all”.
